Super Easy Vegan Flapjacks

Making pancakes with milk is just silly. Using some sort of baking mix is even more so. These are WAY better. You can thank me by checking out my web-links.

 

Combine:

2 cups flour Use whole wheat if you like, or a mixture.

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

 

 

Stir:

2 cups of orange juice The juice will react with the baking soda and powder, making air bubble in the batter, so be ready to grill these right away.

¼ cup of applesauce: This makes a big difference in texture, but it won’t ruin your pancakes if you don’t have any.

 

Then:

Cook the pancakes . . .

If you don’t know how to cook pancakes, I’m not sure I can help you. I like to grease the skillet with plenty of vegan margarine. You can use cooking spray, but its not as yummy.

 

My favorite options:

1 mashed banana AND 1 chopped banana will make it all yummy and custardy

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Chopped apple

Chopped walnuts

Chopped Liver (Kidding)

Blueberries

Loganberries (you get the idea)
